Seabrook Sailing Club - Endless Summer Regatta

On September 19th and 20th in 2015 SSC hosted the Endless Summer Regatta. It was once again the largest Youth Regatta in the state of Texas with a total of 106 youth sailors competing. A huge "Thank You!" to all the volunteers that helped to make this a fun, safe, and successful event.

Things looked a little dicey Saturday morning due the lack of wind and the regatta started with a postponement. Fortunately the wind picked up and the PROs were able to get in several races on Saturday and several more on Sunday for a total of 12 races for the Open Bic fleet, 10 for the Opti Green fleet, 8 for the Opti Champs, and 8 for the Lasers (Full, Radial, and 4.7).

Although we had a fewer SSC sailors participate this year than in the past few years, those that sailed did well and had a great time. Conrad Lock and Julian Martin sailed in the Laser 4.7 fleet, and Ianna Wade-Gledhill and Siri Harris-Ryden sailed in the Opti Green fleet. Congratulations to Julian for placing 1st and to Siri for placing 5th!
