New Years Day Windsurfing

We had a fun New Year’s Day Windsurfing at Seabrook Sailing Club.   Ok, most people stayed inside the clubhouse and were just watching me freeze on the water. The air was 37 and the water was 48. With the tide pushed out past the T-Head it was a long walk out to the water where it was deep enough to launch. I just did two quick runs with the most careful tacks to avoid falling in the water. But that’s how we welcome in the New Year. Once back on shore and after a hot shower I joined everyone else inside for food, drinks, and good conversation. It was fun to see each other.

One of the things we talked about was to organize some nights to go out to eat this winter. The theme is to make sure we go to the restaurants that will soon be moving or gone due to the Highway 146 expansion. Cheers,
